Bradfield Cricket Club has been presented with a pedestrian sprayer, paid for from the Norse Community Fund.

It was presented by Peter Abbs who works for Norse Grounds Division, and also plays cricket for Bradfield and keeps the outfield looking good.

The new sprayer will be a welcome addition to groundsman William Wright's maintenance equipment. It can be used for liquid fertilizer and also to treat turf diseases.

Bradfield's square has long been rated one of the best in Norfolk Alliance and has been in the top two for the last five years. William was recently recognised for his long standing contribution to cricket by receiving the North Norfolk District Council Big Society award

Bradfield hold training sessions every week for youngsters aged five and upwards. Hopefully the younger members will grow up to be able to make the most of the excellent wickets.
