The Hunny Bell Break Charity Cross Country event, organised by North Norfolk Beach Runner Ross Haddow with help from club members, took place on the Stody Estate at the weekend..
This annual fund-raiser for the Break Charity saw 65 starters in the 2.4 mile Under 13/Under 18 junior race and 310 in the five mile senior race.
The junior race was won by Under-13 Danny Adams in a very good time of 12 minutes 48 seconds while the senior race winner was Iain Robertson who led from start to finish to clock 28.06.
Beach Runners were marshaling the course but a number ran, among whom the first home in club livery was Eddie Carman in a time of 34.49 although perennial ultra runner Carmine de Grandis also took partand clocked 31.27.
Break is a children's charity which provides a diverse range of specialist residential and community based services for vulnerable youngsters.
