The NANSA Bowls League continues to support the charity SCOPE, which provides facilities for local people of all ages with cerebral palsy and associated disabilities.

The NANSA Bowls League continues to support the charity SCOPE, which provides facilities for local people of all ages with cerebral palsy and associated disabilities.

Over the past 42 years, �52,450 has been raised by all the clubs, members and supporters towards this cause.

Two new sponsors have been obtained this year for the league. Ken Lister of Castlegate Seat, Norwich has undertaken to sponsor the two evening leagues, which will be known as the Castlegate Seat White and Blue leagues.

D & J Tuddenham continue to sponsor the afternoon league and new sponsors, Papworth Farms Felmingham join regular sponsors N Horner-Glister (Auctioneers), E Wright, Crossroads Garage, Saxthorpe and Keys (Aylsham) to support the tournaments and the annual prize draw.

The first of two open tournaments, a pairs competition, will take place at Cawston on Saturday, July 25, contact Mrs T Durrant 01603 871208 to enter.

The second, a mixed pairs event, will take place at Erpingham on Sunday, August 9, contact Mr G Craske 01263 761577.
