There were 45 North Norfolk Beach Runners among 662 finishers in the Freethorpe 10 mile race.
First Beach Runner home was Chris Merrylees in 58 mins 54 secs for 15th place, followed by Neil Adams in 59.42 for 18th. Chris Parker clocked 1.01.00 for 25th and Colin Stark 1.01.58 for 33rd. Septuagenarian Brenda Kinch ran 1.37.05 and was the sixth female home in the 65+ section.
Three Beach Runners took on the Peddars Way ultra, a 48 mile race from Knettishall Heath in Suffolk to Holme next the Sea in north Norfolk. Out of a field of 130, Ben Jones came fifth in 7.28.16, John Christopher 24th in 8.17.25 and Maria Greaves 50th in 9.12.43.
Meanwhile the mixed ability group have been out and about in Cromer with a spot of relay trotting on the Prom, Temperatures plunged below freezing, but that didn't stop them going through their paces.
