The school has run for 18 months, is open to everyone from school age upwards and runs in Aylsham and Northrepps. This is the first time anyone from The Mill SoG has attended a pairs or rhythmic event.
The competition among the Pairs for girls was very stiff, with Robyn Morley and Loren Clapham from The Mill SoG coming ninth with a very respectable 8.00.
The Mill SoG gymnasts are very pleased with their rhythmic results. In the ball duets Robyn Morley and Jessica Foster took silver medals and Victoria Cook and Sarah Nash earned gold medals. The individual ribbon saw Victoria Cook take bronze and Georgina Boreham was awarded a gold. The final piece was the rope duet in which Charis Pratt and Megan Scott topped off a great day by achieving silver medals.
The children were accompanied by their coach Becky Morley, assistant aoach George Morley and trainee coach Becky Heavens. All are very proud of the children's excellent performances and exemplary behaviour during the long day and are already planning how to make it even better next year.
