Former Wroxham player Martin McNeil has returned to the football club.
The former Cambridge United and Torquay defender, who made nearly 100 League appearances, re-signed for the new season last week.
McNeil was Player of the Year during a previous stint at the club, before winning the Ridgeons League with Soham and Lowestoft, respectively, in the past two seasons.
McNeil links up once again with manager David Batch, who was his youth team manager at Cambridge when he made his debut at the age of 17 against then Premiership side Nottingham Forest in the Carling Cup, before signing professional terms with the club. Batch said: "Martin not only has more experience than most at this level but, more importantly, he is
hungry enough to continue to want to
prove his ability as well - which is a
trait I am looking for in players at
this club.
"His attitude is first-class and he is
another important addition to
our squad," he added.
