ALDBOROUGH Lions are carrying the Nicholsons flag proudly in to the Norfolk Primary Cup semi-finals.
The keen Lions roared to a 5-2 victory at Lynn Docklands to earn a last four home pairing with another West Norfolk ace outfit Pott Row.
Club secretary Adam Brown said: 'It was a tremendous quarter-final for us, we have a home tie in the semi-final and we will strive our utmost to make the final.
In Slater & Frith Division One, Gimingham with the benefit of games in hand remain top after beating North Walsham OB 3-0. Happisburgh are up to second, two points off the pace following a 4-2 victory at Coltishall and Mundesley drop to third after their 2-1 home reverse against reigning champions East Ruston.
Bodham's relentless pursuit of promotion and probably the Wayford Nurseries Division Two continue with a 4-0 win over Felmingham. Bodham's faultless record of 39 points from 13 games so far is challenged only by Aldborough now 21 points adrift with a daunting backlog of seven games.
The top three in Knights Trophies Division Three are Haisboro Athletic, Mundesley Reserves and Cawston all locked on 26 points while in a second round of the Optic Benevolent Cup Hickling pulled a surprise 2-1 win over Lyng.
