Cromer Lifeboat Cup quarter-final
Cromer Town Res 5, Briston 1
Briston came out strongly and played some good football in front of a large and appreciative crowd and could have gone 1-0 up after 20 minutes but for an excellent save by Ben Fuller, the Cromer keeper.
Cromer then took a grip of the game and went 2-0 up just before half-time. In the second half Briston battled away but eventually lost out 5-1 to a very good Cromer team. Cromer Town Res will now play either Mundesley or Runton in the semi-final. The match was well controlled by Andy Marshall.
Next week's quarter-final match will take place on Monday April 6 between Mundesley and Runton at Runton Playing Fields, kick off 6pm.
