League presents £2,000 cheque

At the NANSA (Norfolk & Norwich Scope Association) Bowls League end of season dinner dance at Woodland Leisure Park, Trimingham chairman Steve Howes presented a cheque for £2,000 to Jim Tubby representing NANSA.

At the NANSA (Norfolk & Norwich Scope Association) Bowls League end-of-season dinner/dance at Woodland Leisure Park, Trimingham chairman Steve Howes presented a cheque for £2,000 to Jim Tubby representing NANSA.

He thanked his committee for all their hard work behind the scenes, sponsors of the leagues and tournaments, bowlers, friends and guests who had made donations and given raffle prizes.

In accepting the cheque Jim Tubby, himself a supporter of NANSA for 55 years, gave an update on the latest provision of facilities for local people of all ages with cerebral palsy and associated disabilities and thanked the league for its most generous continued support.
