SHERINGHAM doctor, Paul Roebuck, has completed a unique double at Cromer Squash club by winning both the club's veterans and Over-35's titles.

Roebuck won the Over-35 championship, which is the Jeff Morris Memorial Trophy, last season for the first time and this year he faced the 2004 champion John Baker in the final.

Baker, who was club champion four times between 1985 and 1990 was however no match for the doctor and, after an exhausting semi-final in which he narrowly defeated Henri Paul, his brave challenge was swept aside as Roebuck stormed to a straight-game victory to retain his title.

Last year Roebuck, who was also runner-up in the club championship in 2004, was beaten in the final of the veteran's championship by Dave Jones but this year with Jones suffering a narrow semi-final defeat at the hands of Henri Paul, Roebuck faced new opposition in the final.

Showing a great deal of determination from the start Roebuck's powerful play proved too much for Paul and he eased his way to his second title with another 3-0 victory.
