Cromer youngster Connor Manning has followed in his mother's footsteps by achieving the highest possible junior accolade in the sport of judo.
Fifteen-year-old Connor, a member of North Walsham Judo Club, has accumulated five black tabs, something his mother Tracey also did exactly 20 years ago.
Excellence at judo clearly runs in Connor's family as his uncle Adrian Lemmon, 1st Dan, took over the North Walsham Club, based at the town's Millfield Junior School, at the age of 20 and has been a key figure in the youngster's rapid progress
The club meets every Tuesday evening, from 7pm.
