The visitors opened the scoring with a drop goal and this had the desired effect on Holt who swept forward to score a push-over try through Woods.
Tries then came at regular intervals through Sturman Robinson and Burn, with Allen and Jones adding conversions to make the score 24-3 at the break.
Robson soon raced up field to score in the corner and later Jake Van Poortvliet gained possession and, with an outrageous dummy, scored a try and with Jones converting, the score had leapt up to 36-3.
Holt's Wright added his name to the scorers to take the score into the forties.
Thetford came back into the game and were rewarded with a converted try but this again spurred Holt on and Knight was on hand to finish off a move, with Jones converting.
A minute later Allen burst through to score and convert his try, and just to add the finishing touches Jones scored a try at the death for Allen to convert.
