After a strong campaign North Walsham Hockey Club women's first team (pictured) are promoted to the East League for next season.
North Walsham were flying in the first half of the season, finishing top of the Martin & Acock Premier Division at Christmas.
The second half saw a more varied performance, but ably led by captain Nicky Batch and manager Mike Bartram, a hard-fought end to the season saw them in second place, with top goal scorer Ellie Vanlint.
They were close behind the eventual winners, Evergreens.
The promotion comes at an exciting time for NWHC with the creation of development teams in both the men's and women's leagues and a non-league Vets side.
On June 12, NWHC will be hosting the first of its Get back into... sessions in conjunction with ActiveNorfolk.
