Happisburgh suffered their second successive relegation after losing to high-flying Sandringham at the weekend.

Following demotion from the Norfolk Alliance because of disciplinary issues Happisburgh have struggled in Division One of the Norfolk League, and a 12th defeat in 16 matches confirmed their fate.

They made 149-9 in their 45 overs, with James Woolston top scoring with 47, but their visitors chased that modest total down in the 27th over for the loss of five wickets.

Overstrand’s long unbeaten home record continued as they beat Felthorpe by 14 runs. The visitors finished on 165-8 chasing Overstrand’s 179-9. Happisburgh are at Felthorpe on Saturday while Overstrand visit Castle Rising.

Aylsham St Giles are well placed to claim promotion from Division 2E after beating rivals Southwold, Jakir Hussain grabbed 5-18 as Aylsham edged home by 20 runs after making 146-8.
