Gimingham Reserves and North Walsham A make progress in Primary Cup

Of the sides that were drawn out to play in the first round of the Norfolk Primary Cup from the Walcott Lighthouse Inn NEN League, there were successes for Gimingham Reserves and North Walsham A.

Gimingham travelled to Loddon Reserves and won by the odd goal of seven while North Walsham A won the all-league encounter at home to Holt Reserves by a 2-0 margin.

League leaders Cromer Youth Old Boys went nap away at Southrepps with Euan Neave (2), Chris Toyn, Joe Leach and Oliver Gahegan being the marksmen.

The Edwards brothers Billy and Tony both netted for Runton as they won 2-1 away at Gimingham, with Cameron Walker scoring for the hosts.

Haisboro Athletic travelled to Erpingham and netted nine times without reply while Aylsham A, at home to Holt Colts, scored four times without conceding and East Ruston hit Hickling for five, also without reply.
