Following a change in skating clubs three months ago, Emily has been rewarded for all her recent hard work when she achieved first place in the Espoir British Championships for figures.

She performed four compulsory figures to a very high standard and achieved good marks. Emily also competed in the solo dance event, again being awarded extremely good marks for her performances and was pleased to be awarded third place.

Following the competition selections for the Cup of Europe International Event were announced and Emily was delighted when she was one of the skaters chosen to represent Great Britain.

The Cup of Europe is a large international event held in Italy in October, Emily will travel with grades assessor and coach Victoria Brown to this event.

Victoria has also been selected to represent Great Britain at two international free-skating events this year in Pula, Croatia and Paris.
