With Cromer chasing 202 to win and the cut-off time of 8.30pm fast approaching, Michael Warnes (78no) calmly steered his side to victory.

Norwich & Coltishall Wanderers kept up their Division One promotion charge with a seven-wicket win over Bradenham.

Rob Thurley hit 89no of Bradenham's 211 for four, but South African Brent Bragge smashed an unbeaten 106 and Jeremy Pilch made 53no as Wanderers (213 for three) sealed victory in the 38th over.

Sheringham slipped into the relegation zone after they were bowled out for just 52 by Stow, who won by nine wickets.

Bradfield (202) lost to Saham Toney (228 for five).

A run festival at Ashmanhaugh in Division Three ended in a five-wicket victory for visitors Swaffham.

Bernie Everett (85) and Alex Metcalfe (94) put the hosts in a strong position at 264 for nine, despite Maurice Dye taking five for 73 and Mark Eagle four for 36. Eagle hit 78 and Anthony Reeve 73 as Swaffham (266 for five) made a winning reply.

In Division Five, Cromer A inflicted a first defeat of the season, by 10 wickets, on previous leaders Halvergate. The Hares made 146, Cromer skipper Alan Lithins scoring 81no and Richard Graveling an unbeaten 51 for the third-placed Crabs. N&C Wanderers A (123) lost to Great Melton A (126 for two).

In Division Six, Bradfield A made 296 for two, J Gray 102no, Mattishall A responding with 119 without loss.

In the Norfolk League, Aldborough's Troy Allan hammered a quickfire 155no as they put Rollesby to the sword in Division One. Allan's score came from just 66 deliveries and included nine sixes and 17 fours, which boosted his average for the season to 102.5.

He featured in an opening stand of 93 with Gerard Cooper (39) out of 238 for eight before Paul Reeve took seven for 16 to see Rollesby all out for 41. Despite that, Aldborough lost top spot to Winterton.

In Division Two, top club St Andrews beat bottom side Overstrand by 206 runs. Aylsham St Giles made a winning 158 for three in reply to Rackheath's 157.

In Division Three, leaders Happisburgh (180 for three) won by seven wickets against Eaton (177 for three).

In Division Four, Ashmanhaugh A made 159 for nine against Freethorpe's 161 for three. N&C Wanderers B scored 181 for nine against Martham's 195 for nine.

In Division Five, Aldborough a made 188 for eight against Watton's 265. In Division Six, Happisburgh A made 126 for nine to Frettenham's 122.

In West Norfolk Division Two, Holt made 286 for five (M Spillett 139no) against Gayton's 161 for nine.
