Two Norfolk golfers, Brian Cox of North Walsham and John Davison of Cringleford, will next week compete in the UK Final of the prestigious Bentley Golf Classic after winning their Bentley Norwich-hosted event earlier this summer.

Brian and John have both secured a place at the UK Final to be held at Bovey Castle, Dartmoor, after winning the dealership event at Weston Park Golf Cllub in May and will now be challenged by golfers representing the remaining 21 Bentley dealerships across the country.

Patrick Sneezum, Bentley Norwich dealer principal, is delighted with his customers' success. He said: "Many Bentley customers are keen golfers and our competition is always very popular.

“To win the qualifying event alone is a mark of considerable achievement but wish Brian and John the best of luck for the forthcoming final."

Peter Grant, Bentley's events manager commented: "Our Bentley Golf Classic programme, now in its third year, has established itself as a prestigious and hard-fought contest. Throughout the summer programme, we aimed to put the same passion into 22 dealer tournaments that we put into making our hand-built cars.

"For the UK Final at Bovey Castle, we have put in place a golf tournament that delivers excitement, luxury and passion. We aim to provide our guests with an 'unrivalled' experience, all undertaken in Bentley's unique style."
