East Coast Warriors' Under 15s scored a 3-0 victory, beating local rivals Cromer to win the league.

Coach and club vice-chairman Shane Clark said the team, which was assembled four years ago from club members who hadn't been getting much time on the pitch, spent their first season losing heavily most weeks.

However, with plenty of practise and 'a poke in the right direction', the team, who train at Bodham, had developed into capable players.

'They play as a team and enjoy their football,' Mr Clark added. 'And with the addition of some extra players along the way, they have developed to the extent that they have not only found the level they can compete at, but have gone further and won the league.'

Congratulating the team, Mr Clark said: 'The boys have only lost one game all season, it has been a pleasure to coach them and we are looking forward to next season already.'
