Dorsett leads the way in North Norfolk Wheelers time trial
On a bright, windy April Fool's Day 19 riders took part in North Norfolk Wheelers' 10 mile time trial from Pretty Corner to Holt. Their journey home was made a little easier with a strong westerly tail wind.
Will Dorsett clocked an excellent time of 21:32 in his attempt to break the course record again this year. Perhaps the man to watch is Colin Hayman, who got his second consecutive personal best.
On Easter Sunday the rain had just eased off when seven brave cyclists turned out for a time trial on wet roads with a strong, cold wind. Matt Hicks made it worthwhile cycling over from Northrepps with a fine time of 23:28 in his opening bid to regain the trophy he won in 2010.
