Walcott Lighthouse Inn North East Norfolk League leaders Gimingham entertained Holt Reserves and won 4-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Wayne Cutting and one from Cameron Walker.

After a goalless first period at East Ruston, second placed Runton scored four times without reply to keep up their unbeaten record in Sanders Coaches Division One.

Southrepps travelled to Cromer Youth Old Boys and, thanks to goals from Andrew Lincoln, Ryan Swift and an opponent, notched up a 3-1 success, with Euan Neave replying for the hosts.

A David Crabb strike for North Walsham A away at Erpingham was enough to secure all three points for the visitors, while struggling Erpingham Reserves conceded 23 times without reply away at Aylsham A.

Hickling picked up maximum points at home to Gimingham Reserves following a 4-0 scoreline.

In the Norwich Sunday League Trimingham Pilgrims faced Poringland Wanderers at MADRA and came back from trailing by two goals to salvage a 2-2 draw in bizarre fashion.

Wanderers made a lively start but as Pilgrims started to get on top the visitors took the lead. They had a two goal advantage at the interval courtesy of a goal from a direct free-kick. Pilgrims looked for a goal in the second half but could not put together the flowing moves that they are capable of. But they found the net from a free-kick 30 yards out wide on the right, the trusty left foot of Chris Winterbone lofting the ball high over the keeper into the roof of the net.

With time running out George Edge received treatment for a facial injury caused by an accidental clash and the referee requested play restart by playing the ball back to the visitors' penalty box. Daniel Tyrell chipped the ball forward from fully 60 yards, the Wanderers goalkeeper misjudged the flight of the ball and Pilgrims were awarded the equalising goal as the ball floated into the net.

Holt bowed out of the Anglian Combination's Cyril Ballyn Cup when they were beaten 5-0 at home by a strong Fakenham Reserves side, for whom Joe Harrison scored a hat-trick and Ben Darby and Callum Brain were also on target.

The Owls return to Division Two action on Saturday when they entertain Acle Reserves. They are currently fourth in the table with five wins and three defeats.
