Cromer Cricket Club will be aiming to start the new Norfolk Alliance Premier Division season as well as they finished it.
They ended any relegation fears last term with a run of four wins in five matches - and will be keen to build on that when they open their 2017 campaign with a home game against North Runcton on Saturday (1pm start).
It's a busy weekend for the club, with the A team travelling to Norwich III and the firsts in action again on Sunday when they visit Norwich's East Anglian Premier League side in the first round of the Carter Cup.
Back in the league Bradfield, newly promoted to Division One, host Diss on Saturday while Sheringham are at Mundford in Division Four and Bradfield A visit Diss A in Division Six.
The Norfolk League also gets under way on Saturday and there's a interesting derby match in the top flight, with Happisburgh entertaining Overstand.
