Cromer Reserves 2, Holt Reserves 4
FOOTBALL: The Cromer Lifeboat Cup kicked off with a pulsating quarter-final which would have been worthy of a final.
Cromer Reserves were hoping to become the first club to win the trophy four years running. They took the early initiative and rattled in two goals. However, Holt went into the break 3-2 up.
The second half continued in the same vein with Holt scoring again to book their place in the semi-finals.
Next week's quarter-final matches take place at Cabbell Park on Monday, April 11 between Sheringham Reserves and Gimingham and on Wednesday, April 13 between Cromer Youth Old Boys and Mundesley. Both matches kick off at 6:45pm.
