Cromer Town climbed to third spot with a 5-1 midweek win at Sprowton Athletic and Blofield saw their games in hand advantage slip with a 0-0 draw on Saturday at home to AFC Norwich.
With the 30-match campaign for the Sterry Cup coming to a climax, the Shannocks sit top with 55 points from 27 games, followed by Acle with 54 from 29, Cromer 52 from 28 and Blofield 48 from 25. Last night Blofield were due to visit Watton.
Saturday sees Sheringham at mid-table Dersingham - who midweek lost 4-3 at home to struggling Hindringham, who entertain Blofield at the weekend.
On Tuesday, Blofield are at Holt, Cromer entertain Dersingham and Sheringham entertain Sprowston Wanderers.
At Beccles on Saturday, Paul Timm, Andrew Eastaugh and Kristian Gleave got the goals for Sheringham.

Darren Terrington bagged both goals for Cromer in their 2-0 win at home to Sprowston Athletic.
Adam Seal was on target twice as Dersingham won 4-2 at North Walsham. Billy Overton and Paul English also scored, with James Clifton and Lee Clarke replying for Walsham.
Watton's survival hopes were lifted by a 3-1 win at Wroxham Reserves (Jordan Rocastle). On Tuesday, bottom club Holt drew 0-0 at Loddon.
