A large crowd at Bridge Road were treated to a veritable feast of free-flowing rugby as a strong Presidents' XV took on Holt in the traditional Boxing Day game.
In a match that produced 13 tries, five for the home side and eight for the guests, there was barely an opportunity for either set of players to rest in a contest superbly refereed by David Speck.
Holt half backs Chilli and Josh Simmonds were quick to release the ball wide at every opportunity while young Jack Webster and George Seaman also caught the eye.
Tom Lomax at fullback was a key man for the Presidents' side while James Buckland and winger Callum Mackenzie sparkled in the wide channels, Mackenzie ending the day with a hat-trick and scoring a wonderful individual effort from 75 metres out.
Holt's captain Rob Gray led from the front with typically effective attacking and defensive play and will have been pleased with the efforts of his squad.
