At the Norfolk & Norwich Scope Association Bowls League end of season dinner-dance at Woodland Leisure Park, Trimingham, sponsor Ken Lister (Castlegate Seat, Norwich) presented a cheque for �2,000 to Sheila Parish, executive officer representing NANSA.

Chairman Steve Howes thanked his committee for their hard work, sponsors of all the leagues and tournaments, bowlers, friends and guests who had made donations and given raffle prizes.

Mrs Parish thanked the league for its continued support and explained how the money was spent locally to provide facilities for people of all ages with cerebral palsey and associated disabilities, and their families.

Afurther cheque for �100 was received from life vice-president Eric Witcham and presented at his request by the league secretary, and a further �55 was donated later in the evening.

The President's Cup was retained by the president's team.
