THE bid for the Slater & Frith Division One title took another twist with the new leaders North Walsham Old Boys who beat Coltishall 3-1 to go a point ahead of reigning champions East Ruston.
They shared four goals at Corpusty, with Happisburgh now third on goal difference following a 1-1 draw at Mundesley who, with Gimingham, are only two points off the leaders.
Bodham have almost one hand on the Wayford Nurseries Division Two championship having beaten Aylsham A 11-2 to take their points tally to an unblemished 24 from eight.
Runton are hanging in five points off after a 4-0 win at Dilham, but Aldborough Lions with three games in hand are the main challengers after beating Briston 4-2.
The battle between the top two in Knights Trophies Division Three resulted in Mundesley Reserves beating Cawston 3-1 that lifted them six points clear of Hasbro Athletic who were 5-1 winners over Cromer YOB with the advantage of having three games in hand.
