AMY Martin, based at Gunton Park, secured first place at Brigstock International Horse Trials last weekend, in the KBIS British Equestrian Insurance Junior Regional Novice Eastern Section.
Amy (15) rode Harpley Dollar, her Grey 12-year-old mare, with a great result to finish on her dressage score of 34.80 penalties.
Said Amy: “It's our first win together. Moley, as she is known at home, put in a brilliant performance, and I am now very excited about the season ahead.”
Editors Choice, Amy's other horse who is a nine-year-old chestnut gelding, also went well to finish sixth in the JRN.
Amy hopes to progress to the Intermediate level, and compete in the championships at Weston Park later this year.
