SHERINGHAM Karate Club had another very successful grading examination. Nineteen children and one adult passed their examinations, ranging from red belt to black belt.

The club instructor, Gary Battrick, stated that all the children had tried very hard to pass their gradings and should be proud of their achievements.

Sensei Battrick made special mention of the three students who passed the black belt examination - Megan Rowlands, Alasdair Rowlands and Thomas Deterding, saying: “Although most children are physically capable of passing a grading as difficult as black belt, very few have the dedication, perseverance or spirit to train continuously for six years as these children have, and so this is quite a remarkable achievement.”

Training is on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Sheringham Primary School. Please call Gary Battrick on 01263 710789 for details or visit the web page at www.norfolkjsk.talktalk.net
