Four youngsters helped catch a teenager thought to have snatched a handbag from an elderly woman in Sheringham.On Sunday, a youth grabbed the bag from a 72-year-old woman as she sat on a bench at the promenade and ran off with two others.

On Sunday, a youth grabbed the bag from a 72-year-old woman as she sat on a bench at the promenade and ran off with two others.
They were chased by the victim's husband along with other peeople but were lost near Cliff Road.
Then as police carried out patrols in the area, four 12-year-olds gave them vital information - including a name they had heard shouted as the group ran past them.
Chief Insp Steve Jones said: 'The children flagged us down and gave a description of the lads. We recovered the handbag with all the property - including �45.'
A 13-year-old boy has been charged with theft .

The four youths who helped police will be given swimming vouchers to use at the pool in North Walsham as a thank you.
