A young woman has been airlifted today by the East Anglian Air Ambulance after she fell from a horse and sustained a serious head injury in Ingham, near Stalham.
Dr Dan Devin, Dr Michele Zasa and critical care paramedic Jemma Varela were flown to the scene by captain Chris Sherriff and landed in a field next to the incident.
The medical team provided initial treatment, alongside the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and air ambulance critical care paramedic Ben Caine, before the woman was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. No further information was available this evening.
