Young woman rescued from rising tide by coast guard

A woman who was cut off from the mainland on an island has been rescued by the coastguard.
Wells RNLI and coastguard were called at 6.18pm today (Wednesday, September 2018) by a 24-year-old woman who had been cut off by the rising tide on the east end of Scolt Head Island Nature Reserve.
The woman, who was alone and unhurt, was found and brought to Burnham Overy Staithe.
