The first homes in a 22-dwelling estate on the site of a former care home have started to take shape in Aylsham.
Holt-based J Bunn Homes is building on a site off Burgh Road in the town's east, where the now-demolished Aegel House residential home once stood.
One of the first five homes already has its roof trusses on and the others are up to the second storey.
A spokesman said the first phase of the project would be finished by April next year and the rest would be done by spring/summer 2021.
The firm's director, James Bunn, said: "We've been very pleased with the number of enquiries we've received in the first phase of the development."

The cheapest homes on the estate, to be called Aegel Gardens, will cost £305,000. Aegel House, built in the 1960s, closed in November 2012 after it was decided a much-needed £2m upgrade would be too costly.
