A woman who has had five miscarriages is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for charity by walking 200 miles from Cromer Pier to Sittingbourne in Kent.

Natalie Gorman, 44, is undertaking the challenge in support of the Miscarriage Association and the children's aid charity Covex, which is run by her mum, who used to run charity shops in Holt and Wells.

"The reason for the walk is I had my fifth miscarriage this year, like this one and the four previous I found walking helped clear my mind. Walkers are Welcome Cromer, are a walking group that have offered to join me at the start, which is really great for the support."

Ms Gorman said several campsites including Cromer Camping, Willowcroft Campsite and The Hollies were letting her stay for free during the walk, which will start on August 2 and should take seven days.

She hopes to raise £15,000 for the charities.
