A 26-foot yacht with two people aboard had to be rescued from the North Sea in the middle of the night after it developed engine trouble.
The sailors on board the yacht Phaedra called for help after the boat's engine broke down when they were seven miles north-east of Wells Harbour at 11.40pm on Saturday (August 17).
Wells RNLI launched its all-weather lifeboat from the Holkham Bay low water launch site and reached the yacht 45 minutes later.
Two crew members went on board and secured a tow to the yacht, which was then brought into land, arriving at the Wells Fairway Buoy at 3.20am on Sunday.
They had to wait there for the tide to come in, and at 6.10am the tow resumed and the yacht was safely brought in and moored on the pontoon in the outer harbour.
