A favourite north Norfolk tradition is taking place, as the RNLI Welly travels around the coast.
Yellow badges are being sold across shops connected to the RNLI, as the marigold wellingtons are passed by sea from one RNLI team to the next.
Last week Cromer RNLI recieved the welly, before venturing out on their lifeboat to pass it on to the Sheringham RNLI.
Richard Leeds is the Lifeboat Operations Manager at Cromer RNLI, he said: 'Bringing to the publics attention the 'Welly' campaign is only part of our work. Raising such vital funds allows the RNLI to continue its work on helping those in trouble at sea.'
Mr Leeds works for the Lifeboat Station which has been operating since 1804.
He also reminded everyone about the Open Boathouse event at the end of Cromer Pier on Sunday, May 27 from 10 am to 1pm.
