Community-minded folk braved wet and windy weather, to spruce up a north Norfolk village ready for the summer season.
The Big Bodham Spring Clean was organised by local group Rock Bodham, with litter-pickers and sacks provided by North Norfolk District Council.
Volunteers met at the village hall, in The Street, and spent hours collecting rubbish before being treated to tea, coffee and cakes on their return.
Rock Bodham founder member Callum Ringer, who organised the litter pick, hoped the event would make a difference to the environment and improve the appearance of the village.
He said: “Bodham is located at the source of the River Glaven and it is wildlife not only on land, but also in our watercourses that can suffer if we don’t act.”
