The timing of her visit was supposed to be top secret.
But crowds of well-wishers converged on Holt on Friday morning for a visit from the Duchess of Cambridge.
Her Royal Highness was invited to open the new East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) shop on Station Road.
She is the Royal Patron of the charity which supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
And we have uploaded a special gallery of previously unseen photographs to mark the occasion.
