The Battle of Britain parade and Spitfire flypast in Cromer was a credit to the town, according to a historian from the resort.
Peter Stibbons, who recorded the video (above) of yesterday's event, said: 'I thought it was super. It was splendid to see the banners of the Royal Air Force Association flying and the airmen and women from RAF Marham. It was great to see so many people on the promenade on a Monday afternoon.
'I'm sure it meant a great deal to everyone to see the Spitfire over the pier.'
He added Cromer Pier and Cromer Parish Church were one of the landmarks for RAF personnel during the second world war.
