A north Norfolk church in need of urgent repairs has had its prayers answered.

St Peter Church, Ridlington, near North Walsham, has been awarded £75,600 from the Listed Places of Worship fund to repair its roof.

Toasting the announcement with church wardens this week, Reverend Catherine Dobson, who took over the parish two years ago, said: “This is just fantastic news, our church council have great plans to make our church building a warm, welcoming and confortable place for worship and other benefits.”
