Ugandan pastor Steve Musisi is to visit Sheringham's Lighthouse Community Church thanks to partnership between the church and the pastor's village school.
Lighthouse is helping to re-build and equip the primary school in Lumpewe. Mr Musisi will be in town from October 8-15 and is hoping to meet as many people as possible, and will attend a church open evening on October 10 from 7.30pm.
The church will also host the next Reed People 'Sewathon' from 8am to 8pm on Saturday, November 17.
Participants will be making ladies' pads, pillowcase dresses and headbands, and they hope to make boys shorts out of old T-shirts, as well as wash bags. These will all be taken out to Lumpewe when team from Reed People - which is a project run by Lighthouse - make their next visit in the spring.
