Hundreds of visitors who attended a scarecrow fun day in a Norfolk village helped to raise thousands of pounds to fund community activities.
More than £2,000 was raised at the Trunch fun day event on Sunday, July 15, which was held in the paddock.
Michael Tyler, from the Trunch village society, said: “On a hot, sunny day we received hundreds of visitors attending our scarecrow day.
“It was great to see so many people smiling and enjoying themselves at the events in the paddock, which included a popular gun dog display, a fine array of classic cars, tractors and motorbikes, the Trunch Garden Society Summer Show, and art exhibitions and stalls.”
The money raised at the event will go towards supporting clubs and societies within the village.
Mr Tyler added: “Thank you to all those that before, during and after the event gave up their time to contribute towards making the day such a success.”
