Sheringham Town Council is calling on residents to share their views on the future of the town at two community engagement events taking place at the community centre on July 23 and 25.

The event follows a successful town meeting held in April which saw more than 150 people turn out to put forward their views on issues including the future of the town hall and community centre and hear about a town plan, which has since been initiated.

Deputy mayor Liz Withington said the engagement events aimed to gather the views, priorities and needs of residents, and to inform the council's action plan for the next five years.

Those attending will also be able to find out about the bus shelter due to be installed outside Tesco, on Cromer Road, which has been jointly funded by the town and county councils through a parish partnership.

The community engagement events run on July 23 from 2pm-5pm and on July 25 from 6pm-9pm.
