Revised plans for 52 new homes in Holt have met with online opposition from the town council.
Hopkins Homes has lodged new proposals with North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) for land behind 67, Hempstead Road.
The proposed residential development would include the provision of a new vehicular access to Hempstead Road.
The town council said on the NNDC planning website: 'It is far more practicable and safer to keep the access from Heath Road.'
The authority is also concerned that, 'in addition to one existing access onto Hempstead Road, there are three extra proposed, making this potentially a dangerous road'.
Holt residents have also taken to social media to voice concerns. One said: 'We have enough new houses in Holt. Local services in surgery have long waiting times. Sadly, profit seems to more important than residents.'
And another commented: 'The access will increase traffic flows along the already busy Hempstead Road.'
