A credit crunch survival day - combining charity shop fashion with advice experts - is being staged at North Walsham this month.
The event is aimed at helping local people beat the recession through practical ideas to save money and guidance on issues such as benefits, finance, housing and training and credit.
It has been arranged by the local Griffon Area Partnership and will be at the town's community centre from 10am to 5pm on Thursday March 26.
Charity shop fashion shows will take to the catwalk at 11.15am and 1.15pm. And visitors can learn skills to update their wardrobe and home without spending a penny.
Griffon partnership manager Sue Willis said: 'This is a great way to make sure you are prepared for hard times, and will give you some tips on how to make your money go further.'
