A deadline to find the best environmental schemes in north Norfolk is approaching.
The North Norfolk Environment Awards, presented by the local district council, aim to recognise the work and projects that have made the biggest and best contributions to the environment and sustainability.
There are four categories: for schools, community groups, buildings and small businesses.
One further project that has special merits will win the John Sweeney Award, given in memory of the late council leader John Sweeney, who championed environmental issues.
Prizes, which include 250 for category winners, will be presented at the Green Build sustainable living event at Felbrigg Hall on September 12 and 13.
Entries must be received by Friday, June 12. For information and an entry form, visit www.northnorfolk.org/ environment.asp and click on Environment Awards.
