Rainbow flags will be flying at a north Norfolk country estate renowned for its spectacular gardens, when it hosts an event celebrating the LBGT community.
Stody Lodge Gardens, near Holt, has teamed up with Norwich Pride to organise the Big Gay Out, an inclusive event for lesbian, bisexual, gay and trans people and their friends and families.
Kate MacNicol, of the Stody estate, said: We hope everyone will enjoy themselves and take away some happy memories of a day that will celebrate diversity in all its forms, as well as the spectacular display nature puts on for us in our gardens each May.'
The Big Gay Out runs from 1pm-5pm, entrance is £6, (under 12s free), with proceeds from cake sales going to Norwich Pride. There is good disabled access to most areas of the garden, with accessible toilet and parking also available. Dogs on leads welcome.
Anyone wanting to donate a cake to be served up on the day can email info@norwichpride.org.uk
