Community heroes who have gone out of their way to help a north Norfolk town are set to be honoured with a new award.
Stalham Town Council has set up its own Community Awards scheme, with certificates given out to people who have made a positive contribution to the town.
The first set of nominations for people to receive the award are set to be considered in private by the town council's general purpose committee, with the final winner to be agreed at a meeting of the full council in December.
The award will then be given out in the New Year.
Nominations can be made to the town clerk at the offices in Hillcrest, Yarmouth Road, Stalham, or via stalhamtowncouncil@btinternet.com
