The Sue Ryder shop in Garden Street, Cromer, is offering 25pc off second-hand furniture starting from Friday, February 2, and the shop will also have deals on DVDs and books.

A spokesman said proceeds from the shop went towards funding Sue Ryder nurses, who provide: “compassionate, expert end-of-life care to people and their families.”

A spokesperson said of the milestone: “This success is down to our dedicated team of volunteers, all our supporters, and of course, our customers. I’d like to say a sincere thank you to you all. It’s been a pleasure to get to know all of you, helping you find that perfect item for your home or hard-to-find book.

“With the current focus on sustainability there’s never been a better time to shop second-hand.”
