Ambassadors of the Norfolk dialect have launched their latest short story competition in a bid to discover the county's latest literary talent.
The Friends of Norfolk Dialect (FOND) are encouraging residents to take part in the third 'trosher' short story challenge. Entry to the competition is free this year and the winner will scoop a �100 prize.
Norman Hart, chairman of FOND, said: 'We have been so impressed by the quality of writing in the past two years that we know there is so much talent out there waiting to be tapped.'
'If we can tempt previous and new talent to enter this third competition we will be more than rewarded if one of our winners goes on to find a place as a major talent in our writing community.'
Entry forms are available from all of Norfolk's libraries and the deadline is November 1.
